2010 Sets All-Time High in Travel To Israel
  3,000,001st Tourist Arrives in Israel

3,000,001st tourist to arrive in Israel in 2010, Pastor Ribamar Araujo Ladislau, landed at Ben Gurion International Airport yesterday (Monday, November 22, 2010), on a flight from Sao Paulo, Brazil, setting a new all-time high for incoming tourism to Israel.

According to a news release from Infinity Concepts, LLC, distributed on behalf of the Israel Ministry of Tourism, Pastor Ladislau's group of evangelical tourists, and the other tourists aboard the El Al flight from Sao Paulo were welcomed by Tourism Minister Stas Misezhnikov, the Director General of the Israel Airports Authority Kobi Mor, and other leading members of Israel's tourism industry.

"What an amazing year for Israel. We are so very thankful for all of our dear friends who have helped this year become the best year ever for tourism to Israel," said Haim Gutin, Israel Commissioner for Tourism, North and South America. "We hope to see this trend continue into 2011."
