From October 20 to November 1, 2017, Rev. Heesun Lee, Manmin World Guidance Pastor, led
anniversary services and handkerchief healing meetings in Nagoya, Matsumoto, Tokyo, and Yamagata
of Japan.
On October 22, the first meeting was held in Nagoya Manmin Church (Pastor Dokikuni Miyako). During
its 23rd anniversary service, Rev. Lee delivered the message under the title, "Stay Alert" based on 1
Thessalonians 5:4-6. She urged the attendees to stand solid on the rock of faith, practice the truth
unceasingly, and stay alert. In the afternoon, she led the handkerchief healing meeting. When she
prayed for the sick with the handkerchief on which Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee had prayed (Acts 19:11-
12), a host of people were healed of bad eyesight, atopic dermatitis over whole body, chronic headache,
and aftereffects of strokes.
On 23, she visited Iida Manmin Church (Pastor Seungkil Ryu) and Mitsubasa, the welfare center for the
elderly. On 24, she led Pastors' Seminar and Prayer Meeting in Matsumoto Manmin Church, and the
attendees repented and made up their minds. On 25, another handkerchief healing meeting was held in
Matsumoto Manmin Church (Pastor Ito Masaaki). During her message "God-pleasing Faith" (Hebrews
11:6), she advised them to compare their own faith with the faith of Martha, Maria, and Esther and
thereby achieve God-pleasing faith. Then, she started to pray with the handkerchief of power. Through
the prayer, all kinds of pains were gone, and many people received the fire of the Holy Spirit. A 56-year-
old woman named Kazumi had suffered from demon possession for 34 years, but Rev. Lee helped her
repent thoroughly of her past and prayed for her. Then, the woman was set free.
On 27, Tokyo Manmin Church (Pastor Byeongran Choi) had its 9th Anniversary Service and Handkerchief
Healing Meeting. Rev. Lee preached the message under the title of "God-pleasing Faith" (Hebrews 11:6).
She told them to please God with words of goodness and confession of faith. Then, she prayed with the
handkerchief, and a whole slew of people were healed of scores of diseases such as bad eyesight,
arthritis, hallux valgus, and rhinitis.
On 29, she led the Yamagata Manmin Church's 20th Anniversary Service and the Holy Spirit's Fullness
Prayer Meeting (Pastor Kilmo Kim). In the service, she proclaimed the message with the title
of "Change, and the Fruit of the Shepherd" (Philippians 3:12-14). She urged them to understand and
forgive others. In the prayer meeting held in the afternoon, the members danced and praised. In the
meantime, a member with stiffened legs came to walk because the stiffened legs were softened during
the praise. Through her prayer, hordes of people were healed of diseases including depression, and
knee and pelvis dislocation.
Let's give all thanks and glory to God who brought the fiery works of the Holy Spirit to people in Japan
through healing and change.
Power of GOD
During the mission trip to Japan, the 21st typhoon Lan dissipated quickly and the 22nd typhoon Saola
(Figure 1) slowed down and changed its course (the expected projection in Figure 2) through Dr. Jaerock
Lee's prayer. All meetings were conducted successfully without any problem caused by the typhoons.
