I was healed of otitis media and sudden deafness! |

Deacon Jongseok Bae, age 62, Changwon Manmin Church
When I was ten years old, water entered my right ear, but it was not properly treated. I ended up having
chronic otitis media. Since then I had suffered from oozing sores and drainage that came out for more
than 50 years. I had to wipe it away with cotton all the time. Even the eardrum deteriorated, so I could not
hear anything with the ear. In 2012, I began to attend Changwon Manmin Church and afterwards the pus
stopped oozing.
In May 2017, meantime, my left ear felt stuffed. I was diagnosed with sudden deafness of the ear and
heard that it would not be completely healed. The doctor advised me to wear a hearing aid. I felt troubled
because I could not hear well with the left ear that I had relied on. I wanted to receive healing from God
with faith, so I repeatedly listened to Senior Pastor Dr. Jaerock Lee's sermon "The Message of the
Cross".
One night, I listened to Senior Pastor's sermon and received his prayer for the sick before going to bed.
While sleeping, he appeared in my dream with a soft and gentle smile. He said, "I wish you tried more,"
and prayed earnestly for me. After the prayer in the dream, I felt like all nerves and cells in my ear were
placed in order.
After I woke up in the morning, I felt very good. When I turned the water tap on in the restroom, I could
hear water flowing. I could hear my footsteps and the microwave working. The thing is, sound was
heard not only through my left ear but also through the right ear that had been totally deaf for a long time.
I went to the hospital to check it up, and found out the hearing ability of my left ear became normal and it
functioned better than those of normal people. I was really surprised. After I received Senior Pastor's
prayer during Manmin Summer Retreat in August, 2017, a ringing sound I had had was also gone. I even
came to hear through the right ear. Hallelujah!
I give all thanks and glory to God the Creator who healed my ears that were untreatable with medicine. I
extend my thanks to Senior Pastor who prayed for me.
